Health app

for kids

A quick project to see how can leverage Midjourney and ChatGPT as assistance.

I asked ChatGPT what kind of app I should create. Among other things, it suggested that a health app would be good if I wanted to learn UX and UI. I started generating illustrations in Midjourney, but it didn't quite capture what I was looking for and produced images that could be for children. Then I thought it would be a fun idea to actually target the app towards kids. The illustrations from Midjourney weren't perfect, so I redrew them to add a bit more charm.

Midjourney illustrations

Here are some of the illustrations that I produced during the journey. They are nice but not very personal or amusing.

If you don't want exactly the same style as a well-known illustrator, it can be very time-consuming to use this tool. They have an image search function, but it converts the image to text, giving you a completely different result. I find Midjourney to be excellent to work with as a (super fast) brainstorming tool for illustrations and ideas.

Skething process

I took inspiration from Midjourney's illustrations for the poses and some details, but worked in a different, more naive and hand-drawn manner.
